Our purpose continues to be to provide the children and youth of Hampton Roads with quality instruction in classical ballet, singing, acting, jazz, tap and other dance forms that allows for professional development as well as fostering an appreciation and understanding for these arts.

Sandra Balestracci, principal ballet instructor and Ron Boucher, vocal technician and coach are the Founding Directors. Both not only have long been revered for their own accomplishments as professional artists during their careers at the famous Lincoln Center in New York City but have been helping their students reach careers on some of the very same stages they performed themselves.  In 1992, the two joined to develop the school in order to provide definitive training in the performing arts that is vocationally oriented and technically based through a caring, supportive processes.  We are striving to raise the bar on excellence in performing arts education while providing a safe environment that fosters achievement at the highest levels.
